  • My new theory on the Star Wars Prequels

As we've learned from the internet, nothing unites people faster than having something to hate. As Yoda states, "...hate leads to the Dark side."

The prequels are generally regarded as the weaker trilogy, and as such, are commonly derided by Star Wars fans, who often exhibit much glee in pointing out everything that's wrong with the series. The hate is strong within them.
The prequel trilogy is about Anakin's turn from the Jedi to the Dark Side; from good to bad; from compassion to hate.

Hypothesis: George Lucas made the prequels worse than the Original Trilogy ON PURPOSE, in order for the audience to be as equally seduced by hate as Anakin was, and realise that we are no better than him, as we go from love of what was good, to hate of what was bad. We fall to the Dark Side along with Vader.

Therefore, be mindful of your thoughts next time you watch The Phantom Menace. Giving into hate is a path to the Dark Side...
